The trend of celebrating many western festivals have caught up with India lately. People are enthusiastically celebrating the spooky festival which goes by the name of Halloween. Due to immense exposure to a lot of American pop culture in the form of books, films, cartoons and even shows is how people and mostly the younger generation know about the festival and have also begun to take part in it.
This includes the B-town as well! Many renowned personalities are celebrating Halloween today i.e. 31 October and sharing the joys of it on social media. People often like dressing up in costumes on this day and go hunting house to house for candies (known as trick or treating). They also attend parties.
Owing to the COVID-19 lockdown and social distancing norms, trick or treating is definitely out of the picture. However, many star kids were seen donning beautiful costumes and celebrating the day nevertheless.

Neha Dhupia dressed up her little munchkin Mehr as an adorable witch. She wore a black and gold cape and also a similarly themed hat while carrying a broom with her!
Kunal Khemmu also shared a picture with his family i.e. his wife Soha Ali Khan and daughter Inaaya. The trip was seen dressed in identical nightwear while holding out a decorative pumpkin. The vegetable is a significant part of the festival as people carve them out and light it from the inside to celebrate the memory of lost souls.
Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij’s daughter Tara also dressed up for the festival. She was seen sporting a black blouse along with a black skirt and huge red horns. By the looks of it, it seemed like she was dressing up as Angelina Jolie’s iconic character Maleficient. Her mother Mahhi also twinned with their daughter as she also donned the same outfit!

Superstar Aamir Khan’s daughter also dressed up as an important character called Mazikeen which features on Netlflix’s series ‘Lucifer’. Her makeup looked spot on! The caption for her festive look said, “So what if Halloween isn’t a big thing in India? Any excuse to celebrate. And dress up. And get creative with whatever you have in your closet and Danielle’s closet and Zayn’s closet….
I even considered trick or treating and scaring the kids in my building but.. Covid. So we dressed up and sat at home, eating McDonald’s. How scary.
