Mumbai: Sonam Kapoor , the brand ambassador of The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) yesterday opened the 6th edition of India International Jewellery Week (IIJW) 2015.
Dressed in a stunning emerald green Micheal Costello backless gown, Sonam , inaugurated the event by lighting the traditional lamp. The India International Jewellery Week (IIJW) 2015, which kick-started today ,will continue through Thursday this week.
Looking like she walked straight out of a fairytale, Sonam styled by sister Rhea Kapoor, later walked the ramp,teaming her outfit with diamond and emerald accessories.
On the occasion said Sonam Kapoor, “I have been the brand ambassador for GJEPC for four years now. I love jewellery especially gems. I think it is incredible that we get to endorse the jewellery industry of India because it does so well. I want to make sure that we can export more, and we flourish more.”
