Mumbai: Extravagant , magnanimous and larger-than-life , the newest song from Tevar titled “Radha Nachegi” featuring Sonakshi Sinha is bound to take your breath away courtesy its lavish picturesque set, versatile choreography and Sonakshi’s performance as she turns dancing diva on celluloid.
Shot at Maheshwar Ghat, Indore , the makers left no stone unturned in ensuring the song turned out of be one of the most extravagant numbers of all time. Composed by Sajid- Wajid with choreography by Remo D’Souza, the track titled “Music Bajega Loud toh Radha Nachegi” cost the makers a whopping amount as a beautiful set capturing Mathura’s finer nuances was recreated on the banks of a river.
Talking about the song says producer Sanjay Kapoor, ” Radha is probably the most opulent song that has come out of Bollywood in a really long time and its a lot like the kind of songs that were popular in the 80’s with larger-than-life sets and hundred dancers but with a fun contemporary twist”.
Producer Sunil Lulla, Eros International said, ” Sajid-Wajid have done a great job on the song and choreography by Remo takes it notches higher – This is surely a track that will make its way to clubs and college campuses”.
Sporting an off-white lehenga-choli and traditional jewellery Sonakshi Sinha rehearsed extensively for the song much before its shoot and even trained in classical dance as she matched steps with over a 100 dancers.
Sonakshi Sinha said, ” I felt like a diva shooting the song .A lot of hardwork went into the making of the song and I hope people enjoy it as much as we enjoyed working on it “.
Boney Kapoor’s Tevar presented by Eros International & Sanjay Kapoor Entertainment ‘s Tevar starring Arjun Kapoor ,Sonakshi Sinha and Manoj Bajpayee is scheduled to release 9th January 2015.
