Mumbai: Famous Gujarati actor Upendra Jethalal Trivedi was recognized as a well known actor in the industry and yesterday i.e. 4th January actor passed away at 79 yrs due to the respiratory problem in Mumbai.
Actor Upendra Jetthalal started his career in 1971 with a Gujarati films named Jesal Toral directed by Ravindra Trivedi. He worked for many hit projects and along with this the actor was also known Abhinay Samrat after his performance in the Gujarati play Abhinay Samrat.
In 1989, actor was honored with National Award for Gujarati film Manvini Bhawai and he was also honored with Padma Shri and Pandit Omkarnath Thakur award.
Apart from his acting career he was also attached with politics and he won the Gujarat legislative assembly election from Bhiloda in 1980s.
