Ekta Kapoor, the noted producer and head of the streaming service ALT Balaji took to her social media to reveal why her streaming service has been releasing dramas dealing with same-sex relationships. The recently released series ‘The Married Woman’ explored the same topic. Another serial titled ‘His Storyy’ will also highlight a similar kind of bond.
Ekta made a wholesome series of tweets where she explained how important it is for the LGBT community to be represented in the mainstream media. She further emphasised the fact that her streaming service ALT Balaji has acceptance and respect for all kinds of love stories.

Recently, Ekta is gearing up for the release of another one of her web series titled ‘His Storyy’ on ALT Balaji. It will star Satyadeep Mishra, Priyamani Raj and Mrinal Dutt in key roles. Directed by Suparn S Varma, the show will be released on streaming service on 25 April 2021.
