The Bollywood industry has been filled with the buzz about an official Hindi remake about the superhit Telugu film titled, “Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo”, which went on floors on January 2020.
As per the recent updates, Ekta Kapoor has turned producer for the project and Kartik Aaryan would be playing the protagonist in the film. In the original film, south sensation Allu Arjun had played the titular role. It is suggested that the ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama Fame’ Kartik Aaryan has been in talks for the lead of the movie.

Ashwin Varde, who had produced Kabir Singh, which was another remake from the south, has bought the rights for the above mentioned project. It is also being said that filmmaker Rohit Dhawan, who had directed the film ‘Dishoom’ and debuted with ‘Desi Boyz’, will be directing the Hindi remake.
The original film, ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’, is based on a clerk secretly switching a millionaire’s newborn son with commoners’. It starred Allu Arjun, Pooja Hegde, Tabu, Jayaram and so on. The film was a massive hit with an earning of 85 crore worldwide on the very first day of its release.
