As the nation is gearing up to celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights will be a bit different this year. People are opting to celebrate a peaceful and quiet Diwali amidst this dark period of the pandemic and lockdown. However, the enthusiasm and joy remain the same.
Here is what Bollywood has been up to during this festive season of Diwali:
Legendary icon Amitabh Bachchan extended warm wishes to everyone by sharing a throwback photo of him and his wife Jaya Bachchan. In the caption, he wrote, “दीपावली की शुभकामनाएँ ?” This time, the Bachchan family won’t be indulging in the celebration of the festival lavishly as their dear friend Rishi Kapoor lost his life this year.
