Mumbai: Well we all know the past controversies of Madam Rakhi Sawant and this time she has again been noticed under media talk when actress friend Manisha Kumari slapped the director Sachindra Sharma of the Upcoming movie “Mumbai can Dance Saala” during the music launch event.
In relation to this Manisha said, “Director Sachindra Sharma…unhone mere ko compromise ke liye poocha…casting couch ke liye…aur main Rakhi ji ki friend hoon…main bahut baar inki set pe jaa chuki hoon…(Sachindra Sharma asked me for a compromise (to offer me a role). I am a friend of Rakhi Sawant. I have been on her sets many times.”
“When I had gone on the sets of Rakhi’s film, he had winked at me and asked me to compromise two-three times. He beat me up on stage. The media was there and everything was recorded. I slapped him once, but he slapped me twice.”
While in response to this Rakhi said, “Manisha had told me about the casting couch thing. I asked her not to talk about it here. We will see to that later,” Rakhi said, adding: “Some songs in the movie where I had danced were also cut out.”
While, slapping in front of media and choosing this day to slap him doesn’t decide the authenticity of the scene, if a director of the movie has asked for compromise then why she didn’t reacted on the same day? or is it a publicity stunt?
While, lots of unanswered question enters the mind and after this incident we tried to reach Manisha but she was not available and we don’t wish to disclose few personal things about Manisha and her family which are related to her past before talking to her.
