Bollywood actors Sonu Sood and Dia Mirza will be co-hosting an upcoming documentary by the Discovery channel titled ‘Bharat Ke Mahaveer’. The show will pay tribute to all the fearless COVID-19 warriors who came out to help amidst this pandemic era that India faced. The initiative for the show was taken by both NITI Aayog and United Nations. It will feature 12 self-sacrificing heroes who became the epitome of solidarity as well as strength during these dark times.

Dia Mirza is already an advocate for the United Nations Secretary General’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Whereas, Sonu Sood has been highly praised by the entire nation for all his contributions amidst the pandemic ranging from opening his hotel to frontline workers to bringing migrant labourers home during the lockdown.
The show is scheduled to air on Discovery Channel from November. It will also be available to stream through Discovery Plus.
