Mumbai: Dharma Productions’ Ungli , an edgy vigilante drama directed by Rensil D’ Silva will release nationwide tomorrow, the makers of the film found it fitting to show the film first to die-hard Sanjay Dutt fans ,as the film marks his return to the silver screen in an avatar he is most loved for.
The production house along with Sanjay’s wife Manyata Dutt will host a special screening for Sanjay Dutt fans tonight at a popular suburban theatre.
Apoorva Mehta, CEO, Dharma says, “Since the trailer of Ungli launched, we’ve been receiving a lot of support and love messages for Sanju. It’s so great to see how his fans stand by him and his films. We wanted to reward their loyalty towards him and hence have decided to organize a special screening just for his fans.”
Says Manyata Dutt, “Without the adulation of his fans, it wouldn’t have been possible for him to sail through this turbulent journey of 20 plus years. Every time he has hit the lowest of low possible time of his life, his fans have not only supported him but have welcomed and embraced him with double their love.
