Mumbai: Manish Paul has been honoured by his Delhi-based school faculty for creating his identity as a successful Bollywood actor and making them proud.
Going back to school after years may seem intimidating to a lot of people, not Manish Paul. Little did the humorous actor anticipate that his school faculty would invite him again years after he passed out, not just for nothing, but to honour him?
Manish Paul took a trip down memory lane and visited his school Apeejay School, Sheikh Sarai in Delhi. He met up with the students and the entire faculty of the school who welcomed him and took him on a short tour of the school. The star also had an opportunity to visit his old classroom which brought back memories of the days when he used to just be a carefree kid who enjoyed his school days.
A source close to Manish informs, “The school authorities had been persistently requesting Manish to visit the school since they wanted to honour him for creatring his identity as a popular Bollywood actor. He is currently shooting for Katha remake and asked the makers if he could take a day off and fly to Delhi for the function. Fortunately, the makers granted him leave and he flew yesterday to Delhi.”
The kids from Apeejay school went crazy on seeing Manish and were screaming for autographs and photographs with their favorite star. The school children had also organised a special programme for Manish and the actor along with the principal and the entire staff members enjoyed every minute of it.
