Filmmaker Anand L Rai is all set to direct the film ‘Atrangi Re’ which will star Sara Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar and Danush. It is alleged that the production process of the film will begin from the month of October. It is being set that the film will be shot in Mumbai, Delhi and Madurai.
The director had mentioned that he utilised the period of the lockdown to create the shooting schedule for the project and is eager to begin to shoot in Madurai in October. He also said that safety measures will be ensured within the sets.
Film critic Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share a picture of both Sara and Dhanush standing candidly in a crowded place, probably a market. The schedule of the film meant to be shot in Varanasi had already been wrapped up before the lockdown owing to coronavirus took place in March. Anand L Rai and Dhanush had previously worked together in the renowned hit ‘Ranjhanaa’ in the year 2013.
‘Atrangi Rey’ is scheduled to release in the year 2021. It is been written by Himanshu Sharma and produced by T-series, Colour Yellow Productions and Cape of Good Films.
