A new web series was recently unveiled by ZEE 5. The announcement came with a caste reveal for the upcoming show titled ‘Black Widows’. The series will be quite unique as it’s an upcoming crime drama which is women-centric.
The description mentioned in the video gave us an idea of the new show. It said, “A perfect tale of love, friendship, and murder! Black Widows revolves around three wives who plot the perfect murder of their abusive husbands. But does their perfect plan find the perfect ending?”
The series will star Mona Singh, Shamita Shetty, Swastika Mukherjee and Raima Sen in the lead roles. Other significant characters will be portrayed by Sharad Kelkar and Parambrata Chattopadhyay.

The series is an official Hindi remake of a Finnish drama titled ‘Mustat Lesket’ that came out in 2014. It has been directed by Birsa Dasgupta.
No official release date has been revealed by the streaming network yet but further details will be unveiled soon.
