As the world shut down owing to the COVID-10 pandemic that had spread like wildfire last year, the entertainment industry was one of the very few sectors that began work at the earliest when relaxations got announced. However, a new wave of the virus has gripped the nation once again and the state of Maharastra has become one of the most affected areas.
As a result, a lot of projects are getting halted yet again as many celebrities from the Bollywood industry are getting caught in the wrath of COVID-19. Here is a list of some of the stars who recently became a victim of COVID-19.
1. Ranbir Kapoor
The star had been busy shooting for his fantasy superhero film Brahmastra alongside Alia Bhatt when his COVID-19 diagnosis was announced. His mom, actress Neetu Kapoor was the one who shared the unfortunate new while also thanking fans for their ‘get-well-soon’ wishes.
2. Kartik Aaryan
Kartik was also busy shooting for his upcoming horror-comedy ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ alongside Kiara Advani and Tabu. Around 2 days ago the star shared a post on his Instagram handle with the caption, “Positive ho gaya. Dua karo.”
3. Manoj Bajpayee
Through a statement released by Manoj’s spokesperson, it was revealed that the star has contracted the virus and is under home quarantine. His next release ‘Silence…Can You Hear It?’ is ready for release on OTT. Whereas his shoot for another one of his releases ‘Despatch’ had to be halted.
4. Aamir Khan
As per the recent updates the star has also contracted COVID-19 and has been quarantining at his home while following all the protocols. He las appeared opposite Elli AvrRam in the new song ‘Har Funn Maula’. His new film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ will also release this year.
