The 2010 hit ‘Dabangg’ turned out to be a record-breaking film in the Bollywood industry. We were introduced to Salman Khan’s avatar Chulbul Pandey that later was featured in 2 more films, owing to the success of the first film. It is today that the original film ‘Dabangg’ has completed 10 years since it’s release in the Indian film industry.
The film gave us many iconic dialogues, dance moves and the signature aviator look which you can see many of the cops possessing since the film’s release. On the occasion of the film’s 10-year anniversary, Bollywood bombshell Malaika Arora shared a clip on her Instagram account, capturing all the epochal moments from the film. Malaika was seen in the abovementioned film in a cameo where she could be seen dancing alongside Salman Khan in the song ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’. She was also the producer of the film along with Arbaaz Khan and Dhillin Mehta The song was a popular hit as well and topped many music charts.
‘Dabangg’ lauded by the audience as well as the critics highly. It became the highest-grossing film of 2010 and won many awards like the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment and 6 Filmfare Awards, like Best Film and Best Female Debut (for Sonakshi Sinha), Best Music Director (Sajid – Wajid), Best Song Composer (Lalit Pandit for “Munni Badnaam Hui”), Best Female Playback Singer (Mamta Sharma for “Munni Badnaam Hui”) and Best Action (Vijayan Master)
