Star couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have shown their support towards helping the affected because of the gruesome Bihar and Assam floods. As per the recent data, the floods have taken its toll over 38,47,531 people in Bihar and around 25,000 individuals are seeking support in a shelter home.
In a recent post, the Indian cricket team captain mentioned that he has come together with 3 organisations in order to help the adverse situation in the above mentioned states. He also urged the people to come forward and do their bit amidst the time of crisis.
On his twitter post, Kohli wrote, “While our country is in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, people in Assam and Bihar are also suffering due to the devastating floods that have affected so many lives and livelihood. While we continue to pray for the people in Assam & Bihar, Anushka and I have also pledged to help those in need by supporting these three organisations that have been doing credible work in flood relief & welfare.
