It was announced in 2020 that one of the most successful series ever from the 90s i.e. Friends is all set to have a reunion episode with all of the original cast members. However, the shoot for it got delayed owing to the unexpected COVID-19 pandemic that spread all across the world like wildfire. After things being slightly better, streaming service HBO Max has finally announced the release date of the special episode.
The official Instagram handle of HBO also shared the teaser for the same where all 6 friends were seen walking arm in arm as the iconic title track of their show played in the background. The caption said, “It’s been 17 years, but your Friends are back. Stream the #FriendsReunion on May 27 only on HBO Max.”
