Mumbai: Superstar Amitabh Bachchan, National award winner Dhanush and Akshara Haasan who makes her big Bollywood debut in R.Balki’s Shamitabh, travelled to Ahmedabad to celebrate Makar Sankranti with CM Anandi ben Patel.
While thousands of ardent Amitabh Bachchan fans flocked the venue, Dhanush too was in for a surprise as the actor’s local fans turned up to catch a glimpse of him at the venue.
The event saw Mr.Bachchan and Dhanush participate in a friendly kite flying competition, taking forward the film’s central theme of “Clash of the Titans”.
On the occasion said Mr.Bachchan, “Gujarat is like home to me and I am happy to revisit Ahmedabad”
Dhanush said, “For It’s always a pleasure to visit Ahmedabad …I was here 2 years ago for Raanjhanaa and im happy to be here to promote Shamitabh.
