The Bachchan family was one of the very first Bollywood families to have posted positive for having coronavirus. At first, legendary superstar Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan were found positive, followed by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya. It has been more than a week since the father-son due got admitted to the Nanavati Hospital for recovery. Meanwhile, it has only been a few days since Aishwarya and Aradhya got hospitalised.
It was on 11 July 2020 that the Bachchans took to their social media to inform everyone that they were found to be COVID-19 positive. Check out their tweets,

Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you. 🙏🏽

As per some recent updates, both Abhishek and Amitabh have been responding well to the recovery treatment provided at the hospital and will probably get discharged soon.
While they have been isolating and recovering in the hospital, Amitabh Bachchan has been utilising this time to shower his fans with a lot of gratitude.
