Vikrant Massey is one of the very few actors who has had a successful run in all platforms of entertainment. Be it television, films or the newly emerging digital space. He started off with Disney Channel’s Dhoom Machao Dhoom in 2007 and became part of many successful shows like Dharam Veer, Balika Vadhu, Qubool Hai and many others.

He also made a striking impact through his roles in films like ‘Lootera’ and ‘A Death in the Gunj’ that received wide critical acclaim for being authentic and heartfelt. He shined bright in the digital space as well by being part of many popular web shows like Mirzapur, Made in Heaven and Broken But Beautiful.

1. Chhapaak

In this hard-hitting drama regarding the social evil of acid attacks on women, Vikrant was seen in a supporting role. He went through a striking change for his portrayal in the film and gained weight for the character. He played the role of Anmol Dixit, who is the creator of a foundation for acid attack survivors. The actor shared interesting dynamics with Deepika Padukone, the lead of the film whose character was based on Laxmi Agarwal, a campaigner for the rights of acid attack victims.

2. Cargo

Directed by Arati Kadav, Cargo is a science fiction film with a refreshing new concept. It centres around issues like reincarnation and the afterlife. Vikrant Massey starred in this film as Prahastha, an isolated astronaut who is joined by his assistant Yuvishka (played by Shweta Tripathi) and his life changes. The film also created a lot of buzz in international film festivals and can be streamed on Netflix.

3. Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare

In this female-centric progressive drama directed by Alankrita Shrivastava, Vikrant shared screen space with Bhumi Pednekar, who was one of the leads of the film with Konkona Sen Sharma. He played quite an interesting role in the powerful film and his chemistry with Bhumi was also appreciated a lot. ‘Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare’ is available on Netflix to stream.

4. Ginny Weds Sunny

Known mostly for his intense roles, Vikrant played the ‘happy-go-lucky’ Sunny in this lighthearted comedy which is all about matchmaking in the 21st century. He paired up with Yami Gautam for this family entertainer which was filled with adorable moments and lots of laughter.
