Mumbai: Ali Zafar celebrated the success of Kill Dil in his hometown ,Lahore ,with under privileged children. The film marked the third biggest opening in Pakistan ,after Happy New Year and Kick.
And while this would call for lavish celebrations, Ali chose to celebrate the occasion with under privileged children, as he organized a screening of Kill Dil for 50 deserving students ,who were joined by Ali’s family and friends.
Ali took the opportunity to also announce that he would sponsor the education of these children ,as empowering children has been a cause he’s extremely passionate about, given that the actor hails from a family of educationalists.
Ali said, “Fame, fortune, glory each has a life and time. But it is what we leave behind and give back to humanity and people who deserve it. I feel that if someone has been given the value and importance by people then that someone must give back to the people. Help those in need. These 50 girls will contribute to the society with their education in ways more than one. “Adding that, “Let this occasion be for these kids and not me. I get all the spot light all the time. Let the spot light be on them and this cause. The reason for all this is to inspire and motivate more people to give back to the society”
