Mumbai: Bollywood actor, while preparing for his role of a musician in his next, Jay Bhanushali got hooked to playing the guitar.
Actor Jay Bhanushali not just plays a musician in his upcoming film, Ek Paheli Leela, but also plans to become one in real life. The makers asked the actor to learn how to strum a guitar for his role. He enjoyed the training so much that now he wants to continue learning and get better at it.
A source close to the actor says, “While Jay was preparing for his role, he took the lessons very seriously.” Apparently, even though he has finished shooting for the film now, Jay trains for two hours every morning before heading to work.
Jay Bhanushali said, “It all started when my director (Bobby Khan) asked me to get the right attitude and expression while playing the guitar. While practising, I gradually became interested in playing the instrument.”
Bollywood actor Jay, who was last seen in Desi Kattey (2014), feels playing the instrument helps him stay calm. Interestingly, the actor reveals that he has wanted to learn how to play the guitar ever since he was in school as he thought it looked “cool”.
