Mumbai: Aamir Khan PK has beaked all the records at the box office by collecting more than 600Crores while, on the other hand the actor, director is handling the legal complaints against the movie for hurting the sentiments of Hindu religion.
As per the latest updates, a complaint has been filed in a court against the Bollywood movie PK where the name of actor Aamir Khan, Rajkumar Hirani (movie director), Vidhu Vinod Chopra (producer) and others team members were added for allegedly hurting the sentiment with the movie.
Along with this the name of Jitan Ram Manjhi (Bihar, Chief Minister), Anushka Sharma, Leela Samson (Censor Board chairperson) have been added in the complaint made by Rakesh Dutta Mishra (Bharatiya Jan Kranti Dal, General Secretary).
The main reason for entering the name of Bihar Chief Minister has been informed by the petitioner that CM allowed the film to be screened in theatres in our state.
Court Case has been filed under various IPC sections including 124A (Sedition), 153A (Promoting enmity between groups on grounds of religion, race, etc), 295A (Deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings), and 298 (Uttering words, etc, with intention).
The hearing of the case will take place today i.e. 16th January, 2015 under the supervision of Bharat Singh (Chief Judicial Magistrate).
