After being away for a few years, it is exciting to be back in the city that’s home to Bollywood with our 9th GeoSpa asiaSpa India Awards ceremony at ITC Grand Central, Mumbai. The event spread out the red carpet to leading Bollywood divas and social glitterati from the town.
Over the years, asiaSpa’s signature wellness showcase featured the best of the wellness industry! This year too, wellness icons and enterprises across various categories in the Best Spas and Spa products across the country were recognized and rewarded.
The evening also highlighted latest Spa trends and the Luxurious Spa treatments and also acknowledged leading industry experts and celebrities. While Randeep Hooda bagged the Wellness Icon of the Year award and Mr Ajay Bijli awarded for Wellness Icon of the Year Corporate, Beauty Diva Rekha was recognized with the Spa Diva Award. Shilpa Shetty bagged Wellness award female, Sushmita Sen got Woman of Substance award, Tiger Shroff won Fitness Icon of The Year and Bipasha Basu bagged the trophy for Fitness Icon of The Year Female. Newcomer Athiya Shetty walked away with Style Icon award whereas Divya Khosla Kumar won Spalicious award. Blossom Kocchar won Wellness Achiever award.
Winners for our “Reader’s Choice Favorite Spa (India) is Shamana Spa, Grand Hyatt Goa” with Switzerland taking home the Reader’s Choice Favorite Spa Destination (Europe) award and the “Readers’ Choice Favorite Spa Destination (Asia) going to Thailand.
The event marked asiaSpa’s 12 years showcasing the spa & wellness industry. Continuing to acknowledge its association with this industry asiaSpa aspires to reaching new highs working closely with the rapidly growing spa & wellness industry in the country.
