Diageo India invites Indian artists and music icons like Raghu Dixit, an Indian singer-composer, and Ritviz, the trending face of Indie music, to acquaint festival attendees with Indian melodies at the Godawan lounge of Cannes Film Festival 2022.
Raghu Dixit felt ecstatic performing at the 75th Cannes Film Festival, where India is being revered as the ‘Country of Honor’. “I express my gratitude to Diageo India for extending an opportunity for my band – The Raghu Dixit Project, to perform at the Godawan Lounge at the Palais Des Festival,” said Raghu Dixit. The Raghu Dixit Project brought the audience closer to Indian craft culture, much like Diageo India’s artisanal single malt Godawan.
Godawan’s evocative beauty is in the confluence of Indian luxury and its culture, setting the perfect backdrop for Ritviz to showcase his craft at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival. At the onset, he is incredibly proud to be an independent artist whose journey contributes to the global promotion of Indian art. “I applaud Diageo India’s hospitality and the warmth of Cannes attendees, allowing me to represent my country with an open heart,” says Ritviz.
