Popular actress Archana Puran Singh is celebrating her birthday today. She is mostly known in the Hindi film industry due to her comical roles. She debuted in 1987 through the telefilm titled ‘Abhishek’ alongside Aditya Pancholi. She was later on seen in ‘Jalwa’ sharing screens with stellar actor Naseeruddin Shah.
Since then she did supporting roles in films like Agneepath, Saudagar, Raja Hindustani, Shola Aur Shabnam, Aashiq Awara, Baaz, Judge Mujrim and so on. In the recent past, she was more often seen comical roles in films like Kuch Kuc Hota Hai, Masti, De Dana Dan Bol Bachchan, Mohabbatein, Krrish, Love Story 2050 and so on.

She is also a prominent face in the television world since she began anchoring for the show ‘Wah, Kya Scene Hai’ in the year 1993 on Zee TV. She also acted in popular sitcoms like Shrimaan Shrimati and Junoon. As a host, she was seen in the show ‘Archana Talkies’ on Sony TV.
She suddenly garnered a lot of fame in the year 2006 once again as she was seen as a judge in the Comedy Circus franchise. She is also the only judge to be a part of all the 18 seasons yet till 2018. She is recently seen in ‘The Kapil Sharma’ show in the role of the judge yet again.
