Rakul Preet Singh is celebrating her birthday today! Before entering the Indian film industry, she was into pageants and also participated in ‘Femina Miss India’ in 2011. She stood 5th in the competition. She ventured into the film line through Tamil and Telugu cinema as she starred in films like ‘Keratam’, Yuvan’, ‘Thadaiyara Thaakka’, ‘Venkatadri Express’, etc.
It was in 2014, she emerged in Bollywood through the youth-oriented dramedy called ‘Yaariyan’ directed by Divya Khosla Kumar. She shared screen space in it with Himansh Kohli. She continued to be associated with the south Indian film industry even after her Bollywood debut. She starred in many other films like Yennamo Yedho, Rough, Loukyam, Current Theega and many more.
She gained prominence in the Bollywood industry yet again through her 2018 film ‘Aiyaary’, ‘De De Pyaar De’, ‘Marjaavan’ and ‘Shimla Mirchi’. She is all set to star in many other films as the production has begun once again amidst this new normal. Her new films include ‘Attack’, ‘Ayalaan’, ‘Check’, Kaashvie Nair’s untitled film, Check and Indian 2.
