Mumbai: When it comes to directing your first film, rest and off-days are clearly the last thing on your mind at least that’s what Jasmine D’souza proved recently.
The entire cast and crew of her first film ONE NIGHT STAND were looking forward to giving her a day off from all the grueling schedule and let her enjoy on the one day everyone is excused from taking an off, yes her birthday but Jasmine didn’t think that was the wisest thing to do. The director instead showed up at work and completed the days assignment to the tee!
“She is always a very conscientious kind of a director, she couldn’t imagine throwing the whole schedule awry for her birthday, she not only showed up that day but she did everything that was scheduled for the day,” quipped our source from the sets of the film.
Of course, to make up for their director’s ardent professionalism, the team of ONE NIGHT STAND decided to give her a tiny birthday bash post pack-up, there were cakes and laughter and loads of fun that followed, we are told.
