Bollywood star Chunky Panday is celebrating his birthday today. He is often recognised for his rib ticking depiction for the quirky characters he portrays within the Bollywood industry. However, he made his debut in 1987 with Neelam Kothari in the film ‘Aag Hi Aag’. He then starred in Paap Ki Duniya and shared screens with Sunny Deol.
He gained recognition and was lauded for his role in the film Tehzaab that starred Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit. He appeared in many other films like ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’, ‘Lootere’, ‘Ghar Ka Chiraag’, ‘Zehreelay’, ‘Vishwatma’, ‘Parda Hai Parda, ‘Aankhein’ and so on.
After a long hiatus, he made a comeback in the industry in the early 2000s through films like ‘Elaan’, ‘Don: The Chase Begins Again’, ‘Qayamat: City Under Threat’ and so on. He garnered a lot of fan following and attention through his recurring role in the Houseful franchise. He plays an Indo-Italian man called ‘Akhiri Pasta’, without whom the series will be incomplete.
In the recent era, he began doing intense roles as a villain once again and was seen in that avatar in films like ‘Begum Jaan’, ‘Saaho’ and ‘Prassthanam’. He also debuted into the digital space through the superhit series ‘Abhay’ on Zee5.
On this occasion, Chunky’s daughter, emerging sensation Ananya Panday took to her Instagram to share an adorable video with her father. She captioned it, “Happy bday Pip ❤️ thank you for making me fall in love with the camera, I’ll always be ur baby ?”
