Vivek Oberoi emerged in the world of Bollywood through the movie, Company by notable director Ram Gopal Varma. He is probably one of the very few actors whose debut film earned him two awards in the category of Best Debut and Best Supporting Actor by Filmfare.
He later starred in multiple pictures like Road, Saathiya, Yuva, Masti, Kaal, Kisna, Omkara and so on. He again ventured into the crime drama genre through starring in Shootout at Lokhandwala which earned him a Filmfare nomination in the category for Best Villain. He also starred in the Rakta Charitra series by the director who gave him his debut, Ram Gopal Varma.
On the work front, he was last seen in films like Lucifer (Malayalam), PM Narendra Modi and Rustum (Kannada). He also emerged in the digital space through the intense sports drama web series, Inside Edge. The series has premiered two seasons by now on Amazon Prime. He will be seen starring in the thriller titled, ‘Iti: Can You Solve Your Own Murder’, that he has also produced.
