1. Unlike many star kids who would dive into the world of films after completing schooling, Janhvi finished her education before Debuting. She is a graduate of Lee Strasberg theatre and film Institute, Los Angeles.
2. As per some rumours, Janhvi was offered a Telugu movie before Dhanak alongside superstar Mahesh Babu. She declined the offer then because she felt she isn’t ready yet.
3. Before revealing that she wants to be an actress, Janhvi’s mother, the late superstar Sridevi always wanted her daughter to become a doctor. After finding out, she still supported her daughter‘s aspirations.
4. Filmmaker Karan Johar Initially wanted Janhvi to make her debut through ‘Student Of The Year 2’. He however decided Dhadak to be the film she should start off with.
5. It has been reported that Janhvi went through a simultaneous wait change as she was shooting Roohi and the Gunjan Saxena biopic at the same time. For Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil girl, she gained 6 kgs. For shooting Ruhi, She had to shed 10 kgs.
