1.  Before landing his first him in 2009 i.e. London Dreams, Aditya Started off his career from the world of Television! He featured as a VJ in ‘Channel V’ when he was merely 19 years of age i.e. in 2004. He garnered a lot of teen fans owing to his unique way of hosting and amazing coming timing.

2. Although the actor was known in the Bollywood industry after making a debut with ‘London Dreams’ and further starring in films like ‘Action Replayy’, and ‘Guzaarish’, he earned a name for himself through his portrayal of a failing singer in ‘Ashiqui 2’ alongside Shraddha Kapoor. It also became one of the highest-grossing films of 2013.

3. While growing up, Aditya had no intentions of landing in the entertainment industry and pursue a career in acting. Instead, he wanted to be a professional cricketer. Hence, he often uses the term ‘accidental actor’ to describe himself.

4. He is an artist in the truest sense of the word. Before acting happened, Aditya was already drawn towards music. He plays the guitar, writes his own songs as well as makes them as he feels music helps him express himself better. He is also into painting.

5. He is from a filmy family. He has two brothers, i.e. Siddharth Roy Kapur who is the chief executive officer of UTV motion pictures. Whereas, his other brother Kunaal Roy Kapur is also an actor. His grandfather Raghupat Roy Kapur was a film producer while his mother, Salome Roy Kapur won the title of Miss India in 1972.
