1. His first co-star ended up becoming his life partner. Yes, that’s right! Both Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza together debuted into Bollywood with the 2003 film ‘Tujhe Meri Kasam’. Soon a frienship blossomed between them off screens which turned into love. After a decade of dating, they finally tied the knot.

2. There is another profession Riteish specialises in apart from being an actor and that is architecture. He has a degree for it from Kamla Raheja College of Architecture situated in Mumbai and also owns a architectural and interior designing firm.

3. The actor’s family are into politics. Former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, the late Vilasrao Deshmukh is his father. He has also been the Union Minister of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises India. Riteish’s brother Dhiraj Deshmukh is the MLA of Indian National Congress. While his other brother Amit Deshmukh is also a three term Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from the Latur City constituency.

4. The ‘Masti’ actor is truly multi talented as he is not only an actor and architect but also a producer. He has a production house by the name of Mumbai Film Company that he launched in the year 2013. It has produced projects like Mauli, Faster Fene, Balak-Palak, Yellow, Lai Bhaari and Thank God Bappa.

5. Riteish also has a criket team that he owns called the ‘Veer Marathi’ and it is the part of Celebrity Criket League.
