Actress Shruti Haasan, who is currently celebrating her birthday today gave a massive surprise to her fans. On this special day, makers of upcoming action-packed film ‘Salaar’ revealed that she will be essaying the role of the female lead in it! She will be opposite to leading hero Prabhas.
Fans couldn’t contain their excitement after the announcement of their favourite actress being part of this mega project. The production house of the movie, Hombale Films, shared the exciting news on their Twitter. They also included a poster of Shruti with their announcement. They said, “Wish you a very happy birthday

Director of the KGF franchise, Prashanth Neel will be the person directing Salaar as well. The film announcement was made last year in December 2020. Salaar will go under production after the filmmaker is done with ‘KGF: Chapter 2’.
Meanwhile, Shruti will feature in projects like ‘Pitta Kathalu’, ‘Vakeel Saab’ and ‘Laabam’ soon.
