This film directed by Meghna Gulzar is based on a book that is inspired by true events. Only after seeing Raazi did the watchers realise Alia has come a long way from ‘Student of the Year’ days. There are very few people who could have absolutely nailed the role of a female spy who is Indian and married into a family of Pakistani military officials for relaying information to her country. Alia Bhatt pulled off her character Sehmat as such like it was just made for her!
4. Gangubai – Gangubai Kathiawadi (2021)
The film will be coming out this year and has been directed by the cinematic mastermind, Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Getting to play a lead role which such a prestigious filmmaker is a milestone in itself. The teaser for the same received a while ago and got mixed reviews from the people.
