A prominent face in the television as well as the Bollywood industry, actor Ram Kapoor is celebrating his birthday today. He set foot in the industry and marked his debut with the role of ‘Dr. Ameer’ from the 1998 show ‘Heena’. He was later seen in many popular shows like Ghar Ek Mandir, Kehta Hai Dil, Manshaa, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kasam Se and so on.
He gathered popularity once again in the Indian television industry for his role as ‘Ram Kapoor’ in Ekta Kapoor’s serial ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hai’. He led the show alongside Sakshi Tanwar. The audience loved this refreshing love story between two individuals who get married quite late in their lives and eventually fall in love with each other. Needless to say, the show was an instant hit.

He ventured into the digital space as well through his portrayal in web series like ‘Karrle Tu Bhi Mohabbat’, ‘Abhay’ and critically acclaimed director Mira Nair’s BBC show ‘A Suitable Boy’.
He has had a successful career in films too. He made his debut by playing 5 different roles in his Bollywood debut with ’50 Day War-Kargil’. Many of his other noticeable film projects include Monsoon Wedding, Golmaal Returns, Udaan, Student of the Year, Mere Dad Ki Maruti, Shaadi Ke Side Effects, Humshakals and so on.
He will soon be seen in the upcoming film ‘The Big Bull’ directed by Kookie Gulati with Abhishek Bachchan and Ileana D’Cruz.
