UK Asian Film Festival honours Tillotama Shome with the ‘Best Actress’ award for ‘Raahgir: The Wayfarers’

Tillotama Shome also shared some behind-the-scenes moments from the time they were shooting for ‘Raahgir: The Wayfarers’.

Critically acclaimed actress Tillotama Shome had another feather to add to her cap. She made the nation proud by winning the ‘Best Actress’ award for her performance in the movie ‘Raahgir: The Wayfarers’ at the UK Asian Film Festival 2021. She shared the news herself on her Twitter handle.

Tillotama Shome’s post on Twitter also revealed the director of the film i.e. Goutam Ghose also won the award for ‘Best Director’, “I am blessed to have worked with the wonderful director #GautamGhose and co-actors @_AdilHussain @NeerajKabi1 in @raahgirthefilm.Thank you #23rdUKAsianFilmFestival @cometoUKAFF for honouring our film with these awards.”

Along with this, she also shared some behind-the-scenes moments from the time they were shooting for ‘Raahgir: The Wayfarers’.

Raahgir: The Wayfarers is based on the meeting of strangers who are under the wrath of poverty and are looking for new economic opportunities. Apart from Tillotama, the film also starred Adil Hussain and Neeraj Kabi in important roles.
