Esteemed actress Tillotama Shome was honoured with the ‘Best Actress in a Leading Role’ award at the 6th FOI Online Awards. It was for her performance in the film film ‘Sir’ that released in India during 2020. She played the role of a free-spirited housemaid in the film named Ratna.

‘Sir’ directed and written by Rohena Gera was a film the showcased the harsh truths about life in a beautiful cinematic manner. The film earlier released at various international film festivals in 2018 and garnered a lot of international recognition and praise.
Sir also starred Vivek Gomner, Divya Seth and Dilnaz Irani in crucial roles. It is also streaming on Netflix.
