Former beauty queen and now an actress, Sushmita Sen took to her social media to share a major milestone from her life. Through one of her posts, she revealed that it has been 27 years since she became the first-ever Indian to win the Miss Universe pageant in 1994. She celebrated the occasion by posting a heartfelt note.
On her post she shared the picture from the time she was 18, dressed in a beautiful gown. She mentioned, “Have you ever stared at the impossible & thanked God for giving you the opportunity to make it possible? I have!!!?❤️ To my Motherland INDIA ??…Happpyyyyy 27th Anniversary of India’s first ever victory at #MissUniverse in Manila #philippines ???? Her beau, Roman Shawl shared the picture of a beautiful illustration done by him that she uploaded on her Instagram.
She also revealed that they cut a cake to mark the special occasion and spread its joy with her ‘favorite people’.
On the work front, Sushmita had confirmed that her hit series ‘Aarya’ is coming back for season 2. Filming for the same had also begun.
