Shilpa Shetty, the hidden archer!

Shilpa Shetty

Shilpa requested all the parents to also learn something new with their children and ended her post by mentioning ‘Swasth raho, mast raho.’

Bollywood sensation Shilpa Shetty Kundra went on her Instagram account to flaunt some archery skills. She can be seen enjoying herself as she aims to hit the bull’s eye. She also explained how important it is for children to be part of co-curricular activities from a young age for a fit body and a fit mind too.

She started her post by mentioning how fragile a child’s mind is at a tender age, ” child’s mind and body are like wet clay. So, I believe it is imperative that we introduce our kids to as many sporting activities as is possible. It helps inculcate sportsman spirit, a sense of healthy competition, ample physical activity, and is a good way to build an appetite. ”

She added, “Also, once they take a liking to a sport and develop the habit of experimenting with other sporting activities, it helps them stay active well into their adulthood too.”

She, however, mentioned that it is necessary to set good examples for your children as they learn from what is going on around them and this is what urged her to get into archery, “But, kids learn best when they see us doing what we ask them to do. So, back in those days when outdoor activities were a part of our lives🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️, I decided to learn a new sport, archery 🏹 on a trip… (never too old to learn) not bad for a beginner, must say 😎😋”
