Mumbai: Changing names have become a trend in television and the Bollywood industry.
And not to be left behind is the beautiful actress Shilpa Anand of Dil Mill Gayye fame.
The actress has now changed her name to Ohanna Shivanand, to sound it more unique and sexy.
When asked reasons on the sudden change, she shared, “I used to find Shilpa name too common and always wished to change it. I have special affection for the alphabet ‘O’ hence I zeroed in on Ohanna. My original surname is Shivanand but I used it as Anand but now I am back to using it.”
People still recognize her as Shilpa, won’t it affect her popularity? “In today’s time changing name is not a big deal. So with a change of name things don’t really alter much.”
