Anushka Sharma who is busy shooting for ‘Pari’, took time to contribute for ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ on Friday. While media interaction he actor said, Serving our country in true sense can only be done by cleanliness.
“It is appreciable that our Prime Minister Mr. Modi has made ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ an important mission for us. If people think they should keep their homes clean they should also have the same perspective towards our country’s cleanliness. India is our home we should keep it clean too. Cleanliness will keep diseases away and it will bring prosperity. So I feel serving our country in true sense can be done by cleanliness.” said Anushka during media interaction.
She further added, “I request everyone to support this initiative and help keep our country clean. We do a lot for ourselves, but we should ones in a while do things for others too. My entire team is here, and I am happy to do this for my country, so much so that I would like to come here and do this again.”
Anushka was last seen in ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ directed by Imtiaz Ali, co-starring Shah Rukh khan. Her future projects include, Untitled Sanjay Dutt Biopic with Rajkumar Hirani and an untitled project with Anand L Rai.
The actress is currently shooting for ‘Pari’ directed by debutant Prosit Roy and is co-produced by Clean Slate Films and KriArj Entertainment . The film is scheduled to release in 2018, February.
