Retired IPS officer R K Vij praises Yami Gautam Dhar for ‘A Thursday’

It’s been 5 months since Yami Gautam Dhar’s vigilante-hostage thriller film ‘A Thursday’ has been released and seems like it’s hard for the audience to get over her fabulous work. While Yami received immense love from the audience and the critics for her amazing role in the film, now Retired IPS officer RK Vij from Chhattisgarh, who is well known for his commendable work in his time as a police official, was also seen lauding her performance in the film.

The Retired IPS officer RK Vij shared on his social media -“Mental agony. Absence of any institutional psychological councelling for rape survivors. Closure of a criminal case. Capital punishment. Loved watching @yamigautam portraying yet another important social issue in #AThursday after #Dasvi”

While receiving such an appreciation Yami Gautam Dhar took to her social media and replied by saying –

“Indeed ‘A Thursday’ shall always have a special place in my heart! Thank you so much, Sir🙏🏻”

While the actress is constantly receiving prises for her role in ‘A Thursday’ in which she played the character of a school teacher, Naina Jaiswal who kept the 16 kids hostage and woke up the nation and the media while announcing the same, the film recently made its place in the list of the Most Popular Indian Films of 2022 on IMDB with 7.8 ratings.
