Priyanka Chopra is celebrating her 2 decades within the entertainment industry this year. It was in 2000 that she won the Miss World beauty pageant and started off her career as an actress. She recently uploaded a video on her account where she and her family re-lived the experience of her big win all over again.
The video also featured her mother Madhu Chopra who was sitting alongside her daughter as they talked about the major moment. Priyanka also connected with her younger brother Siddharth Chopra over on video call to get his reaction too. He mentioned that when his sister won the competition he was merely 11 years old and apart from being happy for her it also meant he’d have to go to the United States for further studies in place of her.
Meanwhile, her mother mentioned that it was an emotional moment for her she was incredibly proud of her daughter. Although, she hilariously revealed that she ended up asking her the stupidest question just when she was declared the winner. Mrs Chopra expressed that her first question to her was “What will happen to your studies?”. The mother-daughter duo had a burst of hearty laughter after that!

It was a special occasion also because Priyanka’s win also marked India’s 5th win at the competition.
The global diva is all set to release her memoir titled ‘Unfinished’ soon. The official publishers of the book i.e. Penguin India had announced that it will be made available for sale from 19 January 2021.
