Mumbai: Priyanka Chopra recently hosted a shradh pooja in memory of her father the late Ashok Chopra ,who passed away 11 months ago,at the Iskon mandir just before she departed for the shoot of Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do in Barcelona.
The actress personally invited family and her father’s closest friends for the pooja followed by a bhog. The pooja that was a quiet affair and started at 11 am in the morning was also attended by members of the NGO that Mr.Chopra worked for.
The actress will board a cruise for Dil Dhadakne Do,accompanied by mother Madhu Chopra,however,will return for 2 days to spend time with her family on her father’s first death anniversary.
Currently, Priyanka Chopra is busy shuttling between the US and India, juggling her dual careers as an international pop star and Bollywood leading lady.
