Soldier starring Bobby Deol and Preity Zinta completed 22 years in the Indian film industry since it’s release in 1998. It was an action thriller directed by noted filmmaker duo Abbas-Mastan with many shocking twists and turns and power-packed action scenes. It was an instant hit and became the top 3 highest-grossing film of that year at the Box Office.
Although Dil Se.. is considered Preity Zinta’s official debut as an actress. She, however, shot for Soldier first but Mani Ratnam’s Dil Se.. had an early release. To mark the occasion she shared the official video of her song from the film titled, “Soldier – Soldier’ sung by Alka Yagnik and Kumar Sanu.
In her caption, she shared some behind the scenes facts about the shooting of her film where she talked about the weather, her time with co-actor Bobby Deol and the amazing soundtrack of the film.

This year was quite special for Preity as she marked her international television debut as she guest-starred in the sitcom ‘Fresh Off The Boat’ alongside Vir Das as ‘Meena’. Her cricket team Kings XI Punjab also participated in this year’s IPL tournament.
