Actress and fashion entrepreneur Pernia Qureshi was recently invited by Indian School of Design & Innovation’s (ISDI – Mumbai) to judge their annual showcase, Runway To Racks Season III.
Taking fashion incubation to the next level, ISDI’s Fashion Business students took their class projects and brands to Runway, on to an actual business on Perniaspopupshop.com, an online fashion store for women and men.
After 10 months of hard work creating four fashion brands that only had a defined target audience, business and marketing models, the students showcased their creations in front of the judges.
Being a fashion icon, Pernia not only shared her views on fashion among the students but also encouraged them to create more innovative designs and carve their own identity in the fashion world.
ASVAGA, a specialty women’s clothing brand inspired by bohemian fashion & Wanderlust Khadi won the battle of brands and will be launched on perniaspopupshop.com.
Besides Pernia, Nikhil Thampi, Radha Kapoor, Rakhee Kapoor Tandon, Dr Indu Shahani, Siddharth Shahani & Dean Mookesh Patel were also present at the event.
