Popular film ‘Tehzaab’ completed 32 years in the industry since it’s release in the year 1988. The film is remembered for it’s iconic ‘Ek Do Teen’ song picturised on dancing diva Madhuri Dixit which made her an overnight star. Hence, on this special occasion, the actress dedicated a special post on her social media.
Madhuri shared a video on Instagram where she could be seen dancing on the iconic song and soon after a compilation of her fans dancing to the same song follows. She also wrote on her post, “A movie which is very close to my heart and a song which makes me feel alive every time I hear it. Thank you, everyone, for still loving the song, the choreography and creating such amazing videos on it. ”
She also remembered the choreographer of the song, Saroj Khan who unfortunately lost her life this year itself, “Miss you #Saroj ji. She would have been so happy to see this video.”

The song ‘Ek Do Teen’ became so popular that people would plan to rewatch the film in theatres only to enjoy the song as much as they can. The actress revealed that after her big break, people began referring to her as ‘Mohini’ (the name of her character) and not Madhuri. ‘Tehzaab’ had a run in the theatres for more than 50 weeks and became the highest blockbuster at the box office during 1988.
