Shilpa Shetty was spotted at the Special screening of Vidya Balan’s upcoming film ‘Tumhari Sulu’ on Wednesday. During media interaction Shetty said, she loves how Vidya portrays different characters.

Shilpa before the screening for Tumhari Sulu appeared to watch the film of her friend and producer Atul and school companion Vidya. “Atul Kasbekar is a great friend who is producing this film. I think he has a great grasp on the kind of films he wants to make and I loved Tumhari Sulu’s trailers. Another exciting this is my friend from Chembur is in the film, Vidya. We were in school together, of course, she was younger than me (laughs). I love how she portrays different characters and I am really looking forward to the film.”

The actress has completed 24 years in the industry since ‘Baazigar’ in 1990’s, when asked about her journey she said, “It’s been 24 years in the industry but I never really considered the years that I have passed in the industry. I have enjoyed every moment being here. I am loved more now by people and fans than I was before. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone, because of their love and support I am still a part of the industry.”
Given the recent setback faced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his upcoming film ‘Padmavati,’ Shilpa said, “I feel bad that creative expression is been suppressed. With due respect to all the sentiments, I think films as long as do not send out a wrong message or hurt someone’s dignity, you must allow a filmmaker to express himself through cinema.”

Shilpa has produced her first small screen live game show titled “Aunty Boli Lagao Boli: Sabse Kam Sabse Anokhi” and hosts the dance based reality show Super Dancer 2 along with choreographer Geeta Kapoor and Anurag Basu.
