As per the rumour mills, Kriti Sanon had been roped in to star in the upcoming mythological drama ‘Adipurush’. The actress had confirmed the news now by sharing a picture with the cast of the film and their director Om Raut. In the picture, she was seen alongside south sensation Prabhas and ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ star Sunny Singh.
Kriti shared the pictures on her Twitter handle while writing, “A new journey begins..

Kriti will be essaying the role of Sita in the film that is going to be inspired by the Hindu epic Ramayana. Saif Ai Khan has also been roped in to play the antagonist in the film named ‘Lankesh’.
Adipurush is going to be a pan-Indian film that is being shot simultaneously in Hindi as well as Telugu. It will also be released in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam. The film will be releasing in the year 2022.
